Jenni Reling Seminars Fund-Raising Events

 

What is this all about?

It is a partnership formed on a one-time basis, or more frequently if desired between Jenni Reling Seminars and non-profit organizations/ churches designed to accomplish two major objectives:

• offer an educational session of encouragement, hope, practical ideas, joy, and laughter to people….a respite from their busy lives
• earn funds for non-profit organizations for their human service endeavors

 

How does it work?

A  church group (such as Women’s Ministries) or non-profit organization contacts Jenni, to provide one or more of 4 different general-audience inspirational programs.  A date is selected and spaces (tickets) are sold for the event.  The event(s) is/ are held, giving inspiration, hope, and fun to the people in attendance.  It can be a “Woman to Woman” event or a general audience group. 

 

What topics are available?

Each session is 2 to 2.5 hours long and represent some of Jenni’s most popular topics.  The programs have been modified to meet the needs of a general audience: those who are in the work force, those who work at home, and those who are retired.  Topics are:

• Stress Busting: Restoring Sanity to Busy Lives
• Hope and Healing after Loss
• Positive People Extraordinaire
• Personality Pizzazz! (Understanding Personality Styles)

 

 

What are the responsibilities of the non-profit organization?

 

A more complete list is available from Jenni. The basic responsibilities are as follows:

• provide a consistent contact person to correspond with Jenni regularly
• secure a location for the event
• prepare flyers (using information sent by JR Seminars) and tickets for the event and provide me with a copy of all advertising materials
• advertise the event to their supporters and community members (consider using as much email advertising as possible or utilize free advertising offered by donors or include information in newsletters that would be mailed anyway).
• photocopy handouts using masters provided by JR Seminars (these will be minimal)
• if desired, request food and beverage donations from local supporters (so that refreshments won’t have to be provided from your earnings)
• collect funds from individuals and/ or business donors before of the event
• keep a portion of the proceeds (as outlined) for your organization. Pay a portion of all funds collected (as outlined) to Jenni Reling Seminars;
• thank all who volunteer

 

 

 

What are the responsibilities of Jenni Reling Seminars?

• to provide an entertaining, encouraging, quality presentation to those in attendance, utilizing more than 2 decades as a speaker and presenter
• send handout masters to the partner group at least 3 weeks prior to event
• notify contacts in the area of the event being held to generate interest
• send information to be used in preparing advertising to the non-profit organization
• correspond regularly with contact person from your organization

 

 

What are the financial arrangements?

It is Jenni’s goal to make the sponsoring of a fund raising event as worthwhile as possible to your organization!  We require a minimum fee to cover time and expenses.  After that, the majority of the revenue will go to the organization sponsoring the event.  Contact Jenni for more specific details.

 

What is your earning potential?

You can earn from several hundred to several thousand dollars for your organization.

The event also serves the purpose of community education, relationship building, public service, and unity building.
