Creating an
Extraordinarily Positive Workplace
(One of our most
requested topics)
Nothing erodes productivity and personal satisfaction in the workplace
as quickly as negative attitudes and behaviors.
In this session, we’ll look at some of the causes of this
negative behavior, and discover ways to confront in a positive way,
those issues.
And, since
the best place to begin “change” is with ourselves, we’ll do a quick
personal attitude check to consider ways we can positively influence our
work environment.
We’ll
particularly explore the issue of “change” and consider how we can make
it a positive experience.
Balancing Act:
When Your Schedule is Full and Your ‘Bucket’ is Almost Empty!

We want to do a great job at work…to live out our passion to serve our
customers.
But
sometimes get “out of sync,” or overwhelmed with the load and the
balancing of our many roles.
“Balance” means we feel whole and complete, not constantly
over-extended and exhausted.
Balance means that we put focus on and find room for all the
things that are important…and that includes taking care of ourselves.
Come to this session to spend some time focusing on recalibrating
for a balanced life…so we can optimize our role at work and our role
with our families/ community!

Becoming an Effective
Leader
(Tools
for new and more experienced leaders!)
Leadership brings with it many rewards and challenges.
Many who find themselves in leadership roles also find that
they’ve received little training to manage the people and issues they
encounter in the role of “leader“ or they find the task load
overwhelming.
This
session will take a practical yet probing look at leadership skills,
provide strategies to lead in an effective manor and offer encouragement
to the new or more experienced leader.
Much of the material is based on John Maxwell’s work in the area
of leadership.
Customer Service:
The Heart of Success in the Workplace
(Essential!)
Customer service benefits everyone….the customer, of course is pleased
to receive outstanding service….but ultimately the service-giver “wins”
too.
This session
will not only focus on the basics of customer service, but it will also
look at the ways great customer service adds value, motivation and
satisfaction to the worker/ employee.
In recognition that some customers are more difficult to please
than others, the session will also provide strategies for communicating
with and providing service to those “hard-to-make-happy” customers too!
Communication: The Art
of Listening and Conveying Your Message
(Helpful
to any staff group!)
Healthy communication seems to come naturally for some and while some
people do have an intuitive knack for it, it truly is a learned skill.
Communication in the workplace or in a family is essential and
yet without an adequate skill base, it can be overlooked, leading to
misunderstandings, frustration and even costly mistakes.
In this class, learn and practice basic communication skills and
explore more advanced communication skills.
Time Management-- Your
Way
(An
essential in today’s world!)

time management or you weren’t....and that if you weren’t, you’re
condemned to a lifetime of lost keys, lateness for meetings, and
disappearing file folders. Even though effective organization and time
management seem distant for many people, the key is to identify your own
personal organizational style and master skills that anyone can learn.
Come to this session and explore the possibilities and learn some
ways to increase your time management and organizational skills....using
techniques that work for YOU!
